Peter R. Welsh holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from McMaster University,
1969 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from University of New Brunswick, 1972. Following his call to the Bar in New
Brunswick, he practiced Corporate and Commercial law with Hanson, Hashey &
Scott in Frederiction, NB. Returning to
Ontario, he graduated from the University of Western Ontario Ivy School of
Business with a Masters degree in Business Administration in 1975 and immediately
joined The Cadillac Fairview Corporation as Associate General Counsel until
returning to private practice in Ontario in Business Law with Aylesworth
Thompson (now Aylesworth LLP) in 1978. Peter has authored material on Franchise Law
published by Canada Law Book and has lectured on matters as diverse as
directors and officers responsibilities and liabilities in Canada, enforcement
of creditor rights and succession planning for entrepreneurial businesses,governance and financial restructuring.

Lori Redwood received her Bachelor of Arts with a combined
major in Law and Psychology in 1997 from Carleton University in Ottawa,
Ontario. She subsequently received her
Legal Assistance Diploma with Honours. She worked in the area of Family Law for 4 years at a mid-sized firm in
Ottawa. Lori joined Peter R. Welsh as
his Legal Assistant in his new firm in Oakville in December 2000 and combines her role as Office
Administrator with her primary responsibility as Peter’s principal Law Clerk.

Nicole comes from an administrative background having spent 11 years working in the corporate travel industry. During this time, she developed skills in project management, corporate reporting, customer service, communications, research, guideline tools and process development.
Nicole joined our team in July of 2004 as administrative support.
